The Kurin Atom comes fitted with the State-of-the-Art miniature motor and fan that helps in the intake of clean air. In the first step of the process, the air is sucked in through the front of the mask making it pass through the four layers of filteration (Consolidated Filter).

Wearing a mask for an entire day in these Covid times is not easy as one eventually does have a problem in breathing properly, but this issue has now been looked at by the makers of the Kurin City Cleaner, the Air Purification Smog Tower as they have introduced the first air purification mask in the world.

We worked on the exhaust and ventilation of the exhaled carbon dioxide as well. The exhaled air is also filtered so as to not let any aerosols be exhausted, which is the biggest concern at the moment.

The mammoth purifier will have 48 fans to keep the flow of clean air going. The device will run on energy generated via solar panels and will be made with materials sourced locally, according to Puri.

The air will be purified by using the highly effective H14 grade highly effective particulate arrestance (HEPA) filter which can clean up to 99.99 per cent of the particulate matter present in the air in conjunction with a pre-filter and activated carbon.

Pavneet and his co-founder Madhur Mehta (27) wanted to create devices that would have a positive impact on the lives of people around them.

Delhi’s City Cleaner will be different from China’s Smog Tower as it wouldn’t use the ionisation technique to clean the air. “The ionisation of air does not eradicate the pollutants but works by separating the pollutants from the oxygen, which could be a part of the problem itself,” Puri explained.
